Storm Days, Cancellations & Refund Policy

Storm Days: Nova Scotia is a maritime province with few places more than a few miles from the sea.  Because of this, the weather is very changeable.  Classes will carry on rain or shine.

In cases of extreme weather (blizzard, hurricane, extreme storm) storm days may be called.  If so, classes will be rescheduled for the same time the following week.  Students should be aware of the possibility of the need to accommodate storm days.  Refunds will not be re-issued for storm days except for those traveling from outside the province.

Rescheduling: Life can be unpredictable at times, and plans may need to change. We aim to accommodate insomuch as possible.  If you need to reschedule we will try to accommodate, but we also try to keep classes small to give everyone personal attention, too, so it is only possible if the class isn’t over full within one week of the class’ start.  You may apply your tuition to any other class, if need be.

Student Cancellations & Refunds:  When you register, your spot is reserved for you, and that often means we have to turn down other students.  Last minute cancellations require us to scramble to notify other students as well as do new promotion.  Therefore, we ask that student cancellations be made at least 30 days prior to the start of your course.  No refunds will be issued for cancellations with less than 30 days notice.

Refunds are not provided for student no shows.

Course Cancellation Policy: Twa Corbies Hollow makes every effort to conduct courses as scheduled.  If due to unforeseen circumstances we have to cancel, you will be entitled to a full refund (less course materials if materials were part of your course).
