Years and years worth of home-brewed wine and thousands of books a dozen feet away in the cottage’s library, many of which I haven’t even read yet. All stocked and ready for the zombie apocalypse.
your wine rack design/layout could be very helpful—also any failure issues you might have encountered and reinforced in some more effective way—looks sturdy!
Hi Jack! It’s sturdy but not entirely homemade. I actually built it from two kits I picked up at Canadian Tire. It was far more space efficient than a traditional wine rack, and is made from flat steel bars and pine spacers. I have bolted it directly to struts in the wall so it’s not going anywhere. It holds about 180 bottles (roughly 35 gallons) of wine without problem.
