The first steps in the creation of the Twa Corbies (two ravens) Eco-Guiding & School of Bushcraft were put in motion today. The first class–yet tentative–will be held in late autumn and cover cold weather camping and fashioning tipis from tarps, canvas and other handy materials. This class will cover making bedding from natural materials, keeping dry, making fires on wet days, and building fires to burn long and warm. Even some cold weather cookery, like making bush bread on a stick.
We have two beautiful locations, one in the wooded hills of Cape Breton, and another at Twa Corbies Hollow Homestead in the highlands of mainland Nova Scotia.
Keep abreast for news on the development of the Twa Corbies School of Bushcraft.
