To a tracker, droppings are always fascinating and eye-catching. They tell what creatures live in the wood, when they last came by, and even where they’ve been and what they’ve been eating. This is the spoor of a large coyote–part of the stable family that has taken up residence in the Rusalka Wood–and it passed within the last week or two. It had eaten well a meal of rabbit.
