Spring Horse Moot

herdSidhe Bheg, Aval and Acorn (from left to right) are pausing for a snack at a round bale of hay I pushed out into their meadow a week or two ago. They’ve eaten about half of it so far.

They’re dirty, but it’s not warm enough yet to wash them and comb out their winter fur. Sidhe Bheg got her hooves trimmed this afternoon, and Aval will get his mani-pedi tomorrow. I do all the farrier work and training. Daphne maintains the fences and gives them their daily grain and water.
